Hands-On Mastery
Classes are held in-person, either as one-on-one private training or in small groups. Chelsea will guide you through the process from start to finish, incorporating theory, guided practice, and business advice. Sweet & True offers two levels of sugaring certification: Foundational & Advanced. Foundational Certification covers all of the basics needed to get your sugaring practice rolling, while Advanced Certification expands on these skills by covering Brazilian and eyebrow sugaring techniques.

Ongoing Support
Sweet & True Sugaring offers their Sugaring Success program to all who complete a certification course. You will be provided access to our active Facebook support group, regular Zoom workshops, class drop-ins for one year, and an open invitation to reach out for support. You will never have to face a sticky situation alone!

So sweet to meet you! I'm Chelsea Levy Jenkins, a passionate sugarist from Central New York (CNY). My mission is to introduce and elevate the art of sugaring while helping people feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. Outside of my career, I am a proud wife, casual video gamer, and collector of an eclectic bunch of rescue cats.
At my very own solo practice, Supernatural Skin LLC, I offer sugaring services full-time to the greater Syracuse area. With over three years of experience, I've honed my skills to deliver exceptional results in a relaxing and fun environment. Diversity and inclusivity are at the heart of what I do, finding great satisfaction in helping individuals embrace their natural beauty. My specialty lies in Brazilian sugaring, completing over 800 of them in my first full year in business alone.
My esthetics journey began in Washington state, where I lived for just over 3 years. I knew it was my destiny to grow beyond my roots working retail jobs, so in 2019, I enrolled in Fosbre Academy in Olympia, WA, where I completed an extensive 1200-hour esthetics training program. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I persevered and earned my Washington State Master Esthetician license in 2020. During my time there, I pursued specialized training in sugaring from Sweet & True, opening my eyes to this life-changing technique. While I was not an instant natural at sugaring, I was determined to keep practicing and aspired to become one of the best in the industry. I continue to learn and grow every day, seeking continuing education and constructive feedback wherever possible.
Returning to my CNY hometown in 2021, I earned my New York State Esthetician license and established Supernatural Skin in Clay, where I have practiced since. As the first sugaring specialist in CNY, I'm proud to bring this exceptional hair removal method to the region and beyond. Collaboration with other professionals is vital, as I strive to expand our sugaring community. I simply can’t sugar everyone here alone! Becoming an Elite Educator in sugaring has been my goal since moving back. Noticing the untapped potential in the region, I knew it was my duty to share my expertise and train other motivated professionals.

ASL Accessible
Since 2012, I have been actively involved in the Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing community. While earning an A.S. degree in Business Administration from Onondaga Community College, I concurrently pursued an A.S. degree in American Sign Language (ASL), graduating from both programs in 2015 with top Honors in the ASL program. While I never became an interpreter, serving clients who are Deaf/HoH brings me immense joy as I understand the importance of seeking services from providers who are familiar with their unique needs. Recognizing the under-representation of Deaf/HoH individuals in the beauty industry, I am passionately dedicated to providing access and uplifting those within this community. Additionally, I actively seek out Deaf/HoH providers to welcome into our fold, fostering collaboration and shared growth. While I possess intermediate fluency in ASL, I am also experienced in working alongside interpreters to ensure seamless communication. You may need to provide models for this class or models may be available for an additional fee. One full body model, 2-3 facial and Brazilian models is ideal. You can choose to take both portions separately but you save $100 by condensing the two.
